In June 2018, we hosted Australia's biggest and most excellent podcast event. Audiocraft Podcast Festival brought together 300+ audio creatives and fans for three unmissable days of conversation, celebration and workshops.

The program featured a bunch of the industry's best and brightest: Audible's Jesse Baker & Collin Campbell, Eleanor McDowall (Falling Tree Productions / BBC / Radio Atlas), Robert Smith (NPR's Planet Money), Helen Zaltzman (The Allusionist from Radiotopia), ABC's Beverley Wang (It's Not A Race) & Joel Werner (Sum of All Parts), plus plenty more. Read all about our stellar lineup of speakers here.

We deep-dived into topics including the 'Australian' sound, small acts of reinvention, experimentation, befriending data, outside influences on the form, tools and tricks of the journalism trade, ethics, Bla(c)kness in audio, and so much more.

The Festival was a total blast! If you missed it, not a worry. You can catch up on the Audiocraft Podcast. We'll release audio recordings of the sessions in the coming months so stay tuned.

This event was presented by Audiocraft and our lead sponsor Audible.com.au. Thanks to all our partners for their support.
