Australia’s leading podcast festival is happening again! Held in Sydney over the first weekend of June, Audiocraft Podcast Festival connects audio makers with industry heroes and potential collaborators, and explores new ways of thinking in the podcast space.
To get what we’re talking about, have a look (or listen) to our 2018 Festival, which featured sessions led by Eleanor McDowall (Falling Tree Productions), Helen Zaltzman (Radiotopia), Mike Williams (Triple J), Beverley Wang (ABC RN) and Robert Smith (NPR).
Find your people. In 2019 our focus is on connecting and collaborating. We’re interested in exploring how to make work that draws from and gives back to the community. And there’s no better place for mingling with other makers than at Audiocraft Podcast Festival.
We have a new venue! We’re partnering with the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS) to host the conference day on June 1, where producers of all stripes get super nerdy about the art and craft of audio storytelling.
Our program launches March 2019. We’ll keep you updated—about where to get tickets, the audio heroes presenting and the weird and wonderful things we have planned—here and in our newsletter.
