2018 Expression of Interest

                            ⦾

Audio lovers!

We're inviting Australian audio makers to submit their Expression of Interest to participate in the 2018 Audiocraft Festival.

The festival will incorporate the Audiocraft Conference on June 2 and a day of workshops on June 3. It will bring together producers from the public, community, independent and commercial sectors.

We want to hear ideas that reflect where the Australian audio community is and where we're headed, that will inspire the production of great audio and start important conversations that will shape our podcasting into the future. We want ideas that celebrate what is unique about Australian audio and our audio-making.

Your pitch could be for a panel discussion, presentation or practical workshop, but we are also looking for out-of-the-box ideas unlike anything you've seen at Audiocraft before. We want to explore new ways of listening and interacting with audio.

We encourage producers from regional Australia to apply.

The deadline for submissions is Sunday December 3 at 11.59PM (AEST).

Applications will be processed by the Audiocraft programming committee and applicants will be notified on the status of their proposal by February 2018.

If you have any questions, get in touch with Audiocraft's Program Manager Jess O'Callaghan

The Audiocraft Conference was held on Saturday June 10 at Aerial UTS Function Centre.

Over 250 audio makers and industry leaders came together for a day of creative conversations with the best audio brains from Australia and beyond.

Our stellar lineup of speakers included Eric Nuzum (Audible, US), Megan Tan (Radiotopia’s Millennial, US), Caitlin Thompson (Acast, US), Jesse Cox (RN's This is About) and Sophie Harper (Not By Accident), plus plenty more.
