At Audiocraft
The Audiocraft Podcast Festival was established in 2015 to bring together the best creators from Australia and beyond.
Over the years our program has included Wendy Zukerman (Science Vs), Helen Zaltzman (The Allusionist), Matthew Lieber (Spotify/Gimlet), Kathy Tu & Tobin Low (Nancy), Becky Ripley & Timothy X Atack (Forest 404), Beverley Wang (ABC), Eleanor McDowall (Falling Tree Productions), Mike Williams (ABC), Robert Smith (NPR) and many more.
It’s been a pleasure planning, curating and hosting this event each year, and it’s with some sadness we've decided 2020 will be our last. Read the full announcement here.
In 2021 we’ll continue to support the industry through our production work and development opportunities within the Audiocraft Agency. Interested in working with us? Get in touch.
Turning an idea into a successful podcast is no small task. In Season 6 of the Audiocraft Podcast, hear Audiocraft’s producers and collaborators discuss how they turn an idea, script or brief into a shiny podcast.
In 2020 we gathered online and heard from podcasters around the world about unique collaborations, taking risks, and crafting audio in a socially distanced world.
Audio is better when we make it together. In 2019 we heard from podcasters about finding your creative community, engaging with new technology and creating remotely with makers you admire.
Make the thing. In 2018 we were hatching plans and dreaming big, on individual podcast projects and the audio community as a whole.
In 2017 we’re crafting with care. We’re placing that moment of found sound right on just the right beat, thinking about the bargain we’re making to the listeners and finding space for our own lives, even when the mic is pointed right at us.
