SYNOPSIS

Flirties is a collection of short, tender audio stories inspired by listener-submitted fantasies. Hosted by the mysterious and anonymous Mia Moonlight, each episode is a captivating audio fiction that weaves storytelling with immersive sound design. It’s a podcast for hopeless romantics, horny hearts and anyone in need of some loving sounds.

WHAT WE DID

Flirties was developed by during the pandemic lockdowns. Born out of a desire for connection through an isolating time, it was an exciting opportunity to explore the intimacy of the audio medium and how sounds and voices can make people feel both giddy and safe. The result is a series of immersive audio fictions that connect with listeners through joyful romantic moments and just the right amount of spice.

Being trusted with real audience fantasies was an extra treat. They were all so different, allowing us to delve into a diverse range of stories, desires and experiences. From fun runs with crushes and steamy nights in the bakery, to a stranger simply offering an umbrella in the rain, each episode explores how intimacy, trust and connection, and the ways that intimate and erotic audio can be a safe haven for female and queer listeners.

The creative team crafted something really special with incredible performances from our actors along with thoughtful sound design, foley and ASMR sounds that give listeners the romantic tingles that leave them feeling like they're sixteen again.
