BRINGING STORIES TO LIFE WITH SOUND

We’re experts in audio storytelling, crafting narrative documentaries, educational podcasts, and site based audio adventures that take you right into the heart of a place.

Our team is passionate about human-centred storytelling, turning big ideas into engaging listens, and building worlds with sound.

We’re here to spark curiosity, empathy, and a deeper understanding of the world, one listening experience at a time.

Our Story

Audiocraft has shaped Australian podcasting since 2015, when Kate Montague and Jessica Bineth launched the Audiocraft Podcast Festival. In five years, we held 24 events, welcomed 30 international guests, and celebrated 150+ local makers. After our last festival in 2020, we focused on premium audio projects.

Kate, our CEO and founder, has led projects for Audible, Spotify, SBS, ABC, numerous cultural institutions, and government organisations. She has championed creative audio around the globe, from SXSW Sydney and All About Women at the Sydney Opera House to events in Ireland, the Netherlands, and Boston. Kate’s background in documentary and community development shape her passion for stories that connect people and amplify diverse voices.

Today, Audiocraft is known for narrative documentaries, educational podcasts, and immersive site-based experiences. We’re all about collaboration and purpose led storytelling, creating work that sparks curiosity, big thinking, and a sense of wonder about the world.
