SYNOPSIS

Comedian Nat’s What I Reckon and his die-hard true crime fan partner Jules come together to dig up fact-packed and funny stories about food getting caught up in the world of crime. Murder, poison, heists… all with a side of piss-taking and taste testing. Jules gets into storytelling mode and shares these gruesome tales while Nat reacts his usual dry sarcasm back by his trademark plethora of over the top retro sound effects.

WHAT WE DID

Audiocraft developed this podcast format with creators Stephanie Van Schilt and Toby Fehily, secured Nat’s What I Reckon and his partner Jules as the hosts, and pitched the idea to Spotify Australia.

The team then worked with Nat and Jules to research and craft 10 unique stories - each with a saucy true crime at the heart of it. Audiocraft script edited each episode, directed Nat and Jules in the studio, assembled the episodes, and then handed them over to Sound Engineer Nat Joyce for final mix and berserk sound effect treatment, all while staying true to Nat’s well loved signature voice and style.
